Mumbai Filmfest honors Iran film ‘Reza’

Iran feature film ‘Reza’ has been praised by Jury members of the 2018 Mumbai Film Festival in India.

According to a media report, 20th edition of Jio Mami Mumbai Film Festival jury have honored Ali-Reza Motamedi’s latest movie for being poetic and having a critical outlook. The film has also been applauded for its writer, actors and the director himself.

The film narrates the story of a man in love who needs to deal with his separation from his beloved wife.

The main character of the film Reza must delve into all aspects of his personality to find out why his better half and the woman he loves cannot tolerate living with him and divorces him.

The film was screened at the 36th Fajr International Film Festival and was well-received by the film critiques.

It has also been screened at the 42nd Sao Paulo International Film Festival which is held in Brazil.

Sahar Dolatshahi, Setareh Pesyani, Reza Davoudnejad, Afsar Asadi, Solmaz Ghani and the director himself are among the cast members of the flick.

The latest edition of Jio Mami Mumbai Film Festival started October 25 and ended November 1, 2018.
